How do I take the exam?
You decide!
Either complete the test paper and return it to us
Or take the test online by using the activation code and web address on the front of the test paper. Simply follow the instructions on-screen and you will gain access to the test. We strongly recommend that you complete the test online in order to speed up the time it takes for it to be marked and for your certificate to be dispatched.
What form does the test take?
All questions offer multiple choice answers.
How long do I have to complete the test and how many questions are there?
A time limit of 45 minutes is given to complete all 30 questions. After this time, if you are taking the test online it will be automatically submitted for marking. If you are taking the paper test you should keep to this time limit otherwise your assessment will be invalid.
Do I have to pay to get my test marked?
No, you do not have to pay for your test to be marked.
Who marks my test?
All marking is carried out in-house by Gift Republic.
Can I combine my course with others in the range?
Yes, you can combine any four Master the art of… courses and tests to create a personalised programme of learning and earn a Master the art of… Diploma. This diploma proves you have the self-motivation and versatility to learn new ideas and skills across a range of subjects that reflect your true interests.
How long do I have to register my test online?
You need to register the test before the expiry date on the front of your test paper.
What happens if I leave the online test part-way through?
As with any exam you should make time to complete your test in full. If you have to leave the online test part-way through for any reason, everything completed up to that point will be submitted and saved. You will not be able to revisit these questions. To re-enter the test at another time simply follow the registration details again and you will restart the test where you left off. You will have to complete the test within 28 days of registering it, at which point your test will automatically be submitted for marking.
How long does it take for me to receive my test result?
Your test result will be dispatched to you within 28 days. Should you pass, you will also be sent your certificate.
How do you know where to send my certificate?
The front sheet of your test paper includes space to write your full name and delivery details. If you take the test online you will need to fill out your details prior to taking the test.
What happens if I don’t pass the test?
If you don’t pass the test, you can retake it for a small fee. You can obtain a new activation code for the online test via the Gift Republic website www.giftrepublic.com. You will be emailed further details of this with your results.
